And what better way to spend the season than to ride on a straw-filled wagon or wander a luscious corn maze? Metro Detroit is filled with farms and fairs that offer activities for a breezy autumn afternoon. Here are 13 locations to check out for some autumn fun.

Debuck's is a family farm that offers summer, spring and fall events. Their amenities include a 15-acre corn maze and pumpkin patch that spans 20 acres.

Maybury Farm is a working farm that educates children and families about the animals and agriculture that are vital to traditional Michigan farms. Their corn maze is open through the season, though their autumn highlight is the Great Fall Festival that includes a variety of special activities.

Three Cedars Farm offers old-fashioned fun for all ages during the fall season. Aside from their corn maze, pumpkin patch and hayride, the farm also has a cider and donut hut that sells tasty treats.

Wolcott Mill Metropark Farm Center is a 250-acre working farm that brings its visitors up close with live animals such as cows, goats, sheep, ducks and horses. During the fall, the offer wagon rides, a corn maze and a pumpkin.
